We all had cavities and the most common way we treat them is by filling the gap with man-made materials. But a study published in the “British Medical Journal” shows the opposite. Their suggestion is that simple dietary changes can heal tooth and restore cavities.
“The study involved 62 children classified into three groups based on their diet.
The first group had in their diet oath, the second replaced the oat for vitamin D, and the third group consumed an entirely grain free food plus vitamin D as a supplement. Their diet included milk products, vitamins, fruits, and vitamin D.
Here are the results: There was a significant increase in the prevalence and severity of cavities. The second group showed a small improvement in severity and reduction prevalence. The third group showed best results which resulted in healing the cavities.
According to the American Dental Association,
“[Tooth decay] occurs when foods containing carbohydrates (sugars and starches) such as milk, pop, raisins, cakes or candy are frequently left on the teeth. Bacteria that live in the mouth thrive on these foods, producing acids as a result. Over a period of time, these acids destroy tooth enamel, resulting in tooth decay.”
So how to reverse tooth decay naturally
Avoid phytic acid,
Mostly known as phytate, phytic acid is found in all beans seeds, nuts , and grains. The acid may be beneficial to colon but still can erode teeth and bond binding materials. Best thing to do is to reduce the intake of this acid.
To prevent the damage that phytic acids can create, you want to consume as much as you can non-GMO food. That includes cucumbers, tomatoes, green leafy vegetables, and red peppers, juices, hemp leaf, alfalfa, wheat, nettles, and horsetail are the best herbs for nourishing bone and teeth.
Note that we earlier we mentioned to avoid beans but that not entirely true sprouted beans, and grains are a great source of minerals and are actually the most healthiest food to eat. Awe course GMO soybeans are definitely a NO.
And the major cause of tooth decay is definitely sugar. As it feeds bacteria and empowers their growth. It basically decalcifies the structure of teeth which causes tooth decay.
Avoiding soda, and millions of candies available and replacing them with honey, and fruits.
