Dairy Cream of Onion Soup

Ingredients you will need are:

  • 10 medium cloves garlic
  • 2 (400 g) potatoes
  • 1 carrot
  • 1/2 small onion
  • 1 sprig parsley
  • 7 tablespoons butter
  • 750 ml water
  • taste salt, pepper, spices mixed dry

Dairy section

  • 40g butter
  • 40g flour
  • 400 ml milk
  • taste grated nutmeg

Instructions:

First step is to peel and cut into smaller pieces the garlic, onions, potatoes and carrots. Then put the water to boil and then add the vegetables. Add the parsley, butter and spices for taste. Let them boil until softened,  for 20 minutes.

In the meanwhile, until the vegetables are boiled prepare the milk part.

In another bowl put the butter to melt and add the flour and slightly fry it,  Add the milk and stir with a wire to smooth the mixture. Taste and add grated nutmeg.  When finished remove it from the fire.

Cooked vegetables blend them into a doable mixture and then add the milk part and blend again. Taste is and if necessary add more spices.

Serve hot with chopped parsley and toasted bread.
