“As a matter of fact Ginger is an excellent remedy for upset stomach, colds, viral infections and infected throat.”

Do you use it often in your diet?
If your answer is NO, im my opinion i advice you to include it in your diet often, next make it on a daily basis because it is great for your body and health.

Homemade syrup for better immunity and digestion

First and foremost in morning, grate about a teaspoon ginger and add it in lukewarm water with lemon to have better digestion and you can drink it in the form of tea with a little lemon.

For instance add lemon, ginger and sesame over salmon and cook on medium heat in foil- this meal is healthy and also very tasty.
Even so ginger is added in desserts, and it’s excellent combined with carrots, apples, peaches and chocolate.

In health purposes, we attach our recent syrup with ginger and honey so you can prepare it, here’s what you need for this recipe:

  • 1 large ginger root, peeled and chopped into cubes
  • 6 cups of water
  • 1 brown cup with wildflower honey

Put the ginger in a pot of boiling water on medium heat, to boil from 45 minutes to 1 hour.
During that period, it is necessary to shrink the amount of water to 2 cups.
Once you do this step, leave the water in the pot to cool a bit and strain the water.
Add the honey, stir with a wooden spoon to mix and cover the pan again and put it on the fire for 15 minutes over low heat.
Put the resulting syrup in a glass jar with a lid and keep it in fridge- it will last several weeks in this form.

    How the syrup is consumed?

  • Add 1 teaspoon of the syrup in a glass of mineral water and add a drop of lemon for better digestion in the morning or during the day
  • in 1 cup warm water add one teaspoon of syrup and drink it as a cure for colds
  • add 1-2 teaspoons of the syrup in mustard and sesame and consume them with sliced chicken steak roasted on a grill or with baked salmon.
